Performing Arts Classes
Studies show that students enrolled in performing arts classes not only develop confidence and self presentation skills, but there is also a powerful correlation between higher test scores in math and reading, stronger interpersonal communication skills, and the early development of empathy and compassion for their peers. These skills are incredibly important to the development of your child, and they are all cultivated in a fun and safe atmosphere!
VOICES offers two types of classes:
1. Play Performance:
This class is devoted to teaching our students all about being a part of a play production! Students audition for parts (every student gets a role), and they learn valuable stage skills and performance techniques to prepare for a mandatory show outside of the studio at the end of each session. This class takes place twice per week, and is a must for any student looking to hone their theater performance skills! Different shows will be selected each session!
Class meets every Monday & Wednesday from 5:00pm to 6:55 pm
Cost is $450.00 ($50.00 due at time of registration)
2. Series Classes:
Series classes are all about building technical performance skills in an ensemble based setting! There is an optional performance at the end of each session that is hosted at the studio in a low pressure environment. These classes meet for an hour once a week, and are ideal for any student wishing to continuously explore different class topics each session!
