Jake Galambos

Private Guitar | Private Piano | Private Ukulele | Private Drums

Jake began playing upright bass at the age of 12 in a school orchestra. From the first note he ever played (a ‘D’ he recalls fondly) he has known music would be an enormous and rewarding part of his life.

Graduating from USC in 2011 with a degree in Pop Music Performance (Songwriting), Jake studied classical composition and bass before switching to guitar. He has written and recorded extensively in Los Angeles and Nashville, while maintaining a regular performance schedule.

Jake’s passion for music is infectious, and he strives to help his students find the joy and excitement in being a musician, whatever concept or technique they may be working on. He works to help students overcome any musical obstacle, and to see them succeed in an area that once seemed difficult.
